St. Patrick's Day at Seattle Center: A Day of Irish Music
March 18, 2010 4:03pmDon't know a lick of Gaelic? Can't tell a chanter from a drone? Don't fret - On St. Patrick's Day everyone gets to claim a little Irish ancestry! This Wednesday, we donned our favorite shade of green and headed downtown for the lively St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Seattle Center.
The event was hosted by the Irish Heritage Club of Seattle and featured festive dresses, traditional music and dance steps over 400 years old. To simply describe our favorite sights and sounds of the day wouldn't do them justice, instead, take a look as we learn how to play the traditional Uilleann Pipe:
