September 24, 2009 10:01pmHello PEMCO in the Northwest Blog readers:
We want to take this opportunity to thank you for joining us on our summer road trip as we crisscrossed the region in WALLY1 participating in a wide variety of community and sporting events throughout the state. From joining our fellow soccer enthusiasts in cheering on the Sounders to stepping up in eating contests at fairs, we've had fun meeting the colorful people of the Northwest on our journey.
When we first started this blog, it was our intention to create a virtual 'front porch' where we could all join in conversations about our shared values as Northwest residents. And many of you did! Folks jumped right in and offered wonderful feedback about our ad campaign, "We're A Lot Like You. A Little Different." and how you could relate to one of our quirky characters. You regaled us with your stories of how you recognized a family member or neighbor in one of our ads.
As a token of our appreciation to all who piped up, we'd like to offer a behind-the-scenes look into how we create our Northwest Profiles by revealing clues from our production process. Below is a snapshot of the production team in action -- which new profile do you think is being shot here?
In the next couple of weeks, be on the lookout for some interesting tweets from
@PEMCO_NW that show a glimpse into what our newest Northwest Profiles will be. Feel free to leave your guesses on who will join "
Sandals and Socks Guy" or "
Relentless Recycler" as PEMCO's newest Northwest Profile in the comments section below. For those that get real close to our chosen profiles, we'll send you a T-shirt when we launch the new ads. In the meantime, we invite you to please check out
www.werealotlikeyou.com for a full listing of our current profile types.
Thanks again,
