JOIN US ON A ROADTRIP THAT'S SURE TO BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT.

This year, PEMCO Insurance is sending teams of genuine Northwest-loving people to community events and activities across the state. Some are in support of a good cause, some just sound like a good time - but either way, we hope you'll stop by and say hi. Look for us wherever you see the big green PEMCO van. And if we miss each other, drop us a note here and tell us what's on your mind.

Remember, there's no place quite like home, especially this time of year. So get out there and enjoy!

November 11, 2009 12:06pm
Are you a shopper with a fab sense of style?  Have you been drooling over that perfect outfit to spice up your holiday wardrobe?  Are you always on the prowl for the perfect deal?  Well, look no further, Seattle fashionistas!

The Seattle Goodwill presents its annual Glitter Sale this Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. at the Dearborn Street Goodwill store where deal-seekers of every age can indulge in glitzy and glamorous Goodwill deals.  All things glittery and fabulous will be on sale, from lush evening gowns to designer shoes to vintage accessories.  Just one tip from the experts: get there early! Lines start to form around 7 a.m. as eager shoppers brave the cold November morning with lattes in hand, counting down the minutes until the sale officially begins.

Rain or shine, we'll be there, armed with delicious snacks to keep shoppers going strong through the marathon of amazing deals. Look for us in the PEMCO WALLY1 van – or just follow the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and scrumptious doughnuts!

What could be better than snagging gorgeous merchandise at the perfect price? Knowing that your purchases are supporting a great cause. 100 percent of the proceeds from the Glitter Sale go directly to Goodwill's job training and education programs.  These programs enable low income people to gain necessary job skills and provide them with a support system so they can become self-sufficient.  So, when you're trying on that dazzling gown this weekend, you're also impacting the lives of many of your Northwest friends and neighbors in the process.

See you this Saturday at around 7:30 a.m.?  It's a deal.
